Our story began in 2017 when our family set out to bring the vibrant flavors of Hawaii to Austin. Inspired by the word poke — pronounced poh-KAY, meaning “to slice or cut” — we wanted to create a place where everyone could enjoy this traditional Hawaiian dish in a way that feels fresh, welcoming, and uniquely customizable. The name reflects both the food we serve and the feeling we hope to create: a place where guests feel at home with every bowl.
